We got this Bangladesh today through the great liberation war of nine months from March 26, 1971 to December 16, 1971. It was not so easy for our ancestors. In return for their sacrifices, I got this thing called freedom. In one word, I can say that the word freedom has come from the blood of martyrs, the honor of mothers and sisters, and the killing of animals and birds. I got the courage to speak in mother tongue.
Anyway, we will now see how Bangladesh was in our early days.
First of all we have to know about this continent and we have to look at different ethnic groups.
Origin and development of Bengali nation :
We can easily divide the Bengali nation into two groups, be it physical structure or reading, eating habits, cultural etc. They are 1.Arya and 2.Anarya. Again this Aryan class can be divided into 4 groups such as: Austrian, Dravidian, Votchinian, Negrito. It is said that this Austrian race entered Bengal from Indochina about 6000 years ago and started to rule by defeating the Negritos. After some time, the Dravidians came to Bengal by crossing a pass called Khyber which is located in Pakistan. It is known from history that harmony existed between Austrian and Dravidian nations at that time. Later, the Aryan race was formed by the amalgamation of the Astrik and Dravidian races. It is good to say that the Aryans first arrived in Bengal in the first century BC. And the language before their arrival was Austrian, but because of the Aryan race, that language disappeared. All in all I can say that Bengali nation is not made from any particular race. So the Bengali race is hybrid and so is the Bengali language.

Origin and development of Bengali word:
Every ethnic group has a specific language, culture, etc. Bengalis have and had a distinct language and culture. But it was known as a language since ancient times because the Bengali race itself is a hybrid race. However, we see how the words Bengali, Banga came about. During the reign of Emperor Akbar, the whole of Bengal, i.e. "Bangdesh", was known as "Subah e Bangalah". From the Persian bangalah we get the Portuguese Bengali and the later English Bengali word we. Abul Fazl, the savasad of Emperor Akbar, in his book Ain-i-Akbari uses Bengali as Desbachak and he shows that Bengal is the name of a country which formerly belonged to this country. Also historian Nihararanjan states that the word Banga is found in Aitareya Aranyaka. It is said that in this country, a line was drawn between two fields for cultivation, with soil called Al and the word Banga was added to it and finally the word Bangal came. And the word mulkai means country so according to his interpretation Bangladesh is named from mulk e Bengali
Districts of old Bengal:
Districts, police stations, divisions, villages etc were not in use before 5000 or earlier. Then there was a town which we know today as a district or division. Today's Burdwan, Maldah, Murshidabad, Birbhum, Chapainawabganj were all under Gaur township. Bengal means today's Dhaka, Barisal, Mymensingh, Jessore etc. Greater Bogra, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dinajpur were under Pundra. Harikal included Chittagong Hill Tracts, Tripura, Sylhet. Samatat was greater Comilla, part of Noakhali. Chandradwip was Barisal. Kamrup was a part of Assam. The copper plate was Medinipur which was known as Midhunapur in ancient times. Arkan was part of Cox's Bazar, Myanmar. Also there were many other townships which may or may not exist in history.
Religion of Ancient Bengal:
In the Arya Yuga there was influence of gods and goddesses and village deities. Aryans generally believed in Puja Parvana. They used to do Rath Yatra, Dola Yatra, Bath Yatra. From this it is clear that the Aryans were followers of Hinduism. At that time i.e. in the Vedic period Vrata was more prevalent, there was a god named Dharmathakur of Komad. Dharmapuja was prevalent in Rajdesh. Also then Mansapuja Shardotsava, Ghatlakshi, Shasthipuja. In the sixth century, under the influence of the Brahma dynasty, their Vedic religion spread. Buddhism was dominant during the Pala period and Brahmanism was more influential during the Sen dynasty. It should be noted that at that time the influence of Puranic religion, Vainchavism, Shaivism and Sahajiya religion was noticeable.

Ancient Bengal education and knowledge science practice light:
In ancient times knowledge science information was not available in such a way, but from what is available, it must be said that the information of ancient Bengal was not available in that way in the information of Veda -Brahman-Upanishad, Dharmashrastra, Dharmasutra etc. During the Mauryan period, the practice of knowledge and science was more observed. Through the Mahavihara of Nalanda, we can see Bengal's involvement with science and education in the 6th and 7th centuries. Gradually the contribution in the fields of grammar, dictionary, mathematics, religious practice, etc. is recognized.
Conclusion:
Bengali nation is ahead in thinking, judgement, intelligence, consideration. Bengalis are leading everywhere based on merit mindset. Bengalis are mixed race, people with different characteristics are found among Bengalis. Bengali history is never ending. So finally I will say that I am proud to be a Bengali.
